Off to China for a few days for a conference so will fall even further behind the leaders. But in the spirit of co-operation (natch) I'll give a quick plug to the Insect Survey Bulletin - it'll tell you where & when there are (common) aphids flying so you can look out for them - and hopefully pick up a few ticks.
