Bridport & Thorne week 23

The highlight of the week was a Hummingbird Hawk-moth nectaring on the Catmint in the garden at Thorne. However it was much too flighty to even attempt a photo. This week's photo instead is of the other species of chaser dragonfly commonly seen at the pond at Thorne. A Four-spotted Chaser.

  1. Nice. I'm not expecting much dragon excitement from my patch, but you never know - with the current list of 2 species it wouldn't take much to be exciting!
