OK, here's my 1 km square, the mighty TM2499. I plan to scour every last inch during 2013 (except the bits that are private obviously...)

  1. I’m interested in contributing to this. I’ve recently moved up to the Barnet area so it’ll be a good excuse to get to know the local wildlife. My home square is almost completely houses and flats so I’m thinking of using TQ2897 in Trent Park - largely woodland and unimproved (I think) grassland with a couple of decent ponds. Given the kind of habitat and not being a moth-trapper, I almost certainly won’t make it to 1000 species but I’ll have a bash!
