Bugs.

Away last weekend in all the snow but chipping away since then and pleased to have identified more bryophytes, a couple of snails and a couple of bugs. Additions have been:

Hebrew Character in the trap (6 March)
Kindbergia praelonga (identified from back in Feb, common feather-moss)
Rustyback Asplenium ceterach on the wall by the church with lots of wall-rue
Garlic Mustard Alliaria petiolata leaves
Dotted Border in the trap
Depressaria daucella in the trap (only had 1-2 before)
Gastrodes abietum a ground-bug on the open back door near the trap (to light?)

Forsythia x intermedia on the verge of the coast road not near gardens
Stock Dove 3 over the garden (13 March)
Siskin 2 to N over the allotment
Procumbent Pearlwort weed in someone's garden planters, in F
Common Ragwort (rosettes in the lawn)
Tortula muralis (suitably on the wall by the church, wall screw-moss)
White-lipped Snail Cepaea hortensis
Smooth Glass-snail Aegopinella nitidula (both in the garden, this under leaf litter and much trickier to be sure of)
Yellow Corydalis Pseudofumaria lutea (wall near church)
Columbine Aquilegia vulgaris (garden escape along path near the church)
Gorse Ulex europaea in flower near old railway (which is hard to get at, annoyingly)
Hawthorn Shieldbug Acanthosoma haemorroidale (minding its own business hibernating til I removed its barky shelter)
Common Frog - at last, on the nth check of the pond.
