Just short of 300 for Sand Point, Somerset

A late entry attempting to make up for lost time. I've been keeping a bird list on my patch since the beginning of the year and heard about this which seemed like a great challenge. Birding rather quiet today and weather quite cold so I decided to try and turn it around and have a go with the beating tray.
Todays new additions for the list from the beating tray were:
Malthodes marginatus
Green Orb-weaver
Winter moth larvae
Greenfly
Sycamore Aphid
Theridion bimaculatum
Dismodicus bifrons
Agonopterix heracliana
Menettia longipennis
Silver-sided spider

Also Magpie and Lackey larva found and a Roe Deer was the first I have seen on the site.
Couldn't quite make the 300 instead ending on 296 by this evening.
Happy hunting over the bank holiday,
Paul Bowyer
