Sand Point list reaches 350

A good push in the last few days before the rain set. Today's goal with all the wet weather was to get the slug species numbers up but I couldn't find many. Best performers came from the diptera's with Dicrotendipes lobiger, Chironomus dilutus and Nephrotoma appendiculata. Today I also found my first Common Blue of the year clinging to a grass stem.
Highlights from the weekend started on Saturday with the site's first ever record of Burnet Companion. Also a Bramble Sawfly found nearby.
During the next few days I'll be checking for Coleophora cases on Hawthorn flowers with holes in although I'm not sure which species it is in Skevs posting.
