Willow Flea Beetle Crepidodera aurata
Psylliodes affinis - isn't it?
Small Nettle Weevil Nedyus quadrimaculata
The only thing from today remains unresolved - Amara sp.
Hmm, that willow flea beetle looks suspiciously like something I knocked off a willow yesterday...
ReplyDeleteAndy, it is pretty safe to call a Crepidodera with differently coloured pronotum and elytra aurata.
ReplyDeleteMark, Psylliodes affinis looks right to me. The Amara could be plebeja: if so, it is one of only 2 species with a trident-shaped pro-tibial spur, and the other is rare and coastal.
Thanks Mark. A job for later then!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark, I'll have a look at the Amara some time tomorrow after an inevitable hang-over has subsided (out tonight).
